Are you between 15 and 16 years old, in 2008 are riding in the “U17 Youth” class, have already won some races and are looking forward to the adventure of riding the next season like a professional?
For the upcoming season Canyon offers you and 14 other talented young female and male riders from all over Europe a unique opportunity. From all the applications received by 31. January, a panel of bike pros and experts will select the talented hopefuls that will be invited to a final selection event. Then you will be able to show us your riding abilities and your drive to be part of a team.
The best 15 riders will live the dream:At the official team presentation in our headquarters the Young Heroes will be introduced to the press like real pros.
The races you compete in will be under the direction of your home team (Licence & Outfit). Next to the support by Canyon, the team provides you with the opportunity to get to know young riders from all over the world. The Young Heroes Forum offers you a platform to connect with the other team members and the Canyon staff to discuss topics like training, races, equipment, etc.
Needless to say, the Young Heroes team will have their own professionally created website – just like the pros – on which all team members will be introduced and which will be continuously updated with news about races and results.
Each team member will revievea Canyon pro bike – equipped with a Campagnolo Record group, a Mavic wheelset, FSA components, Continental tires and a saddle by Selle Italia – and will have this pro bike to ride for one whole year. Additionally, we offer spare parts, team outfits, a team meeting to get to know each other, training support from top coaches and much more.
As a team member you will become actively involved in our work at Canyon by participating in the creation of the Young Heroes website, providing us with results, pictures and reports. Additionally, you will become a permanent test rider for our development department and keep a logbook.
