A playful ease of acceleration and magnificent handling at World Cup level, with the XX1 Team version, all the signs point to victory. Eleven sprockets, one chain ring, unbeatable gear shift performance and minimum weight: the Sram XX1 is perfectly configured for the best performance in racing. The broad 10-42 cassette is a masterpiece of the art of CNC milling. Consequently, it is extra light and durable while the special tooth profile on the front chain ring means there is no need for a chain guide either.
At the front, the light and stiff SID XX Worldcup premium fork from RockShox with carbon crown and hydraulic lockout keeps you on course with the speed of an arrow. The super-light and stiff DT Swiss Spline 90 XR1450 wheels produced exclusively for Canyon impress with outstanding agility and uncompromising propulsion, putting you firmly on course for the podium.
„The ultimate bike for XC and marathon riding. Red hot acceleration and supreme handling characteristics all rolled into one bike.“Robert Mennen
“This bike gives me a great response in every situation and helps me put all my power efficiently into forward thrust.”Wolfram Kurschat, Topeak-Ergon Racing Team
"Best Brands MountainBIKE in the categories:
Best value-for-money seller and touring/all-mountain"
“My bike climbs like a chamois and is as agile as a weasel on the trails. The ideal racing machine!”Alban Lakata, Topeak-Ergon Racing Team
Impact Protection Unit
protects the top tube
delivers stiffness on the rear triangle
Oversized inner-bearing junction
delivers maximum stiffness
Short chain stays
deliver lively handling
Vertical Comfort Lateral Stiffness - this is the goal in the development of our hardtail frames. The special design of the seat tube, seat stays and top tube, in combination with a size-dependent seatpost diameter allows a significant comfort increase while maintaining high lateral stiffness.
The stiffness of the bottom bracket depends largely on the bottom bracket housing and chain stays, but the seat tube also plays a major part. The patented Maximus seat tube uses the maximum possible contact area on the bottom bracket housing, providing 100% conversion of the applied force into acceleration.
Internally routed cables
Ultra-light, protected from the weather, 100% silent thanks to the crossed routing and with a clean look- these are the advantages of internally routed cables. Should a cable change become necessary, it can easily be done through the inspection opening at the bottom bracket.
Steering precision is a key parameter for the ride characteristics of a mountain bike. Thanks to the tapered steerer headset stiffness is significantly increased.
