profile

The high-quality premium frame with its unmistakable design exploits all the benefits of aluminium material and also scores points with a sensational frame weight. Outstanding stiffness and robustness are guaranteed by the tapered head tube in conjunction with the light, sensitively appealing Fox 32 Float Performance fork with CTD system and 15 mm through-axle.

The bike follows every steering command with razor sharpness – while the Avid Elixir 7 brakes with large 180 mm front and rear discs deliver reliable deceleration in any situation. The bike cuts a great figure uphill as well: the short head tube allows you to apply sufficient pressure to the front wheel, meaning that you can overcome even the steepest ascents without major exertion.

Bike Classification

Bikes in this category include those from categories 1 and 2 and are designed for harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.

one-piece top tube
saves weight by making weld seams redundant

Anti-Squat-Kinematics
Thanks to the position of the bearing points on the four-link, the so-called anti-squat kinematics, compensates pedal induced bob. Any lockout and high compression damping can be avoided. The rear triangle works sensitively, without any power loss and provides more comfort and traction.

X12 thru-axle
Stiffness is the greatest asset. This doesn't just apply to the frame, but also to the axles. By using an X12 thru-axle the stiffness is increased and bike handling is significantly improved.

Tapered Steerer
More rigidity: The stiffness of a fork can be increased 100% by enlarging the bearing diameter to 1 1/2 inch. The tapered head tube ensures the light weight of the entire system.

Hydro 14
The hydroformed tubes are produced in 14 reforming stages, and they make a frame design possible with optimum stiffness-to-weight ratios. The number of required welds is reduced because of the now superfluous gussets.
