profile

The all-mountain Spectral AL 7.0 features a low bottom bracket for the ideal riding position, short chainstays for agile handling and a flat steering angle for a smooth ride on high speed trails where it really comes into its own. Balanced suspension from the Fox Float CTD rear shock complete with Boost Valve technology for exceptional downhill performance combines with the travel adjustable 140mm Fox Talas forks with 15mm through axles for enhanced steering precision.

DT Swiss N 1900 Spline 27.5“ wheels keep you on the perfect line. On steep climbs, flowing singletrack and technical downhill the 740mm handlebars with 15mm rise and a short stem provide maximum control, even more accurate steering and a comfortable position for tackling ascents.

Our "raw club" colour option has a raw, untreated alloy base, which is given a coating of clear lacquer to protect the frame.

Canyon Through Axle

Postmount standard
Thanks to the Post-Mount brake socket at the rear wheel, we no longer need an adapter and connecting bolts. This not only saves weight but also simplifies the adjustment of the brakes.

Canyon Through Axle
The new Canyon through-axle system delivers maximum rigidity to the rear wheel with its 12 mm through-axle. Compared to other through-axle systems, the rear wheel is mounted fully on the dropout which means that the wheel can be fitted and removed more easily and faster.

Tapered Steerer
Steering precision is a key parameter for the ride characteristics of a mountain bike. Thanks to the tapered steerer headset stiffness is significantly increased.

Anti-Squat-Kinematics
Thanks to the position of the bearing points on the four-link, the so-called anti-squat kinematics, compensates pedal induced bob. Any lockout and high compression damping can be avoided. The rear triangle works sensitively, without any power loss and provides more comfort and traction.

Bike Classification

Bikes in this category include those from categories 1 and 2 and are designed for harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
