The best aluminium frame in the world? asks Tour, which answers by awarding the incredible score of 1.9 for “Best frameset” and “Best comfort”. This premium aluminium bike is based on well-balanced stack and reach based geometry, so it perfectly meets the needs of demanding racers. The press-fit standard means the bottom bracket is now even wider – for greater stiffness, direct propulsion and more power transmitted to the road surface. The outstanding gear shift performance of the Ultegra will never let you down.
The concealed shift and brake cables are operated by ergonomic handles based on Dura-Ace technology. The Ultimate AL is also a real eye catcher. The colourful surfaces emphasise the organic tube shapes, making this stylish bike look even more like the racer it is. The bike offers unbeatable damping characteristics thanks to Canyon VCLS technology with optimised frame construction, thin seat stays and special components like the fork and seat post. Less strain, more performance and lots of fun – the Ultimate AL 9.0 will deliver the total racer experience!
Mavic Ksyrium Elite
The 1550 g light Mavic Ksyrium Elite impresses with innovative technology. Thanks to Fore-drillings, ISM weight tuning and Isopulse spokes the wheel is one of the top choices among demanding racing cyclists.
Shimano Ultegra
The Shimano Ultegra 6700 rear derailleur with silver-grey finish, has lost further weight (189g) while maintaining durability and improving shifting performance with the Wide-Link design.

One One Four SLX
The tapered head tube in combination with the tapered steerer tube allow the load to be spread more evenly. This translates into more safety without weight penalty. Large diameters at the fork crown provide better load transfer and reduce the notch effects.
VCLS Technology
The VCLS Stays (Vertical Comfort, Lateral Stiffness) located at the transition of seat tube, top tube and seat stays, are able to absorb the vibrations and lessen the strain on the muscles. This gain in comfort is reinforced by the newly developed Canyon VCLS Post. A Carbon layup with particularly flexible basalt fibres provides a completely new riding experience.
i-Lock headset system
By rendering conventional tube drilling and clamping cones superfluous, the i-Lock headset system protects the carbon steerer from mechanical stress and damages. We were able to save weight thanks to the thin section bearing at the top and the deeply pressed-in, oversized 1 1/2 inch angular contact ball bearing at the bottom guarantees the maximum load rating of the system.
Maximus Seattube
The increasing width of the cross-section of the patented Maximus seat tube increases the lateral stiffness of the frame in the bottom bracket area by 30% compared to a conventional, round seat tube.
