The frame weighs in at just 790 g, setting new standards with its combination of weight, stiffness, comfort and design, its fantastic ride characteristics and its razor sharp handling. This carbon fibre racer has an eye-catching rear triangle with sophisticated VCLS seat stays. There is a direct connection between the seat stays and the top tube, giving the entire rear triangle extreme lateral stiffness. The top tube and new Maximus seat tube are also flattened for greater comfort. The interaction between the stiffer Press-Fit bottom bracket and the asymmetrical chain stays creates supreme performance and incredible comfort.
Comfort is further boosted by the next-generation One One Four SLX fork. This race fork with carbon-fibre dropouts has extreme lateral stiffness and VCLS technology to absorb hard knocks and vibrations. This protects your muscles and joints, saving valuable energy for the final sprint. All models can be upgraded with the VCLS Post 2.0 as an option. The 100% maintenance free VCLS Post weighs just 220 g and is available in two versions: The straight version gives a setback of 2 mm or -10 mm (+2 mm to -10 mm). The angled version gives a setback of +25 mm or +13 mm. This means riders of all shapes and sizes can find the right position. Combined with tried and tested VCLS technology in the super lightweight carbon fibre frame, the result is supreme comfort and performance.

The seat stays pass either side of the seattube and are connected directly to the rear end of the top tube. The connection between seattube and top tube thus becomes much stiffer, but can still provide sufficient vertical flex when absorbing harder shocks.This prevents shocks from reaching the rider. The derailleur hanger consists of a right and left hand part, which is bolted onto either side of the carbon drop-out. This guarantees maximum width and stiffness at the lowest possible weight.
The extremely sharp entry and exit angles of the cables at the front and rear of the top tube significantly reduce friction. In addition, the protective stickers become redundant since the cable casings cannot come into contact with the frame regardless of the how far you turn the handlebars.
