Greasing of dirt wipers
On suspension forks there are dirt wipers at the openings of the stanchions whose job it is to wipe away dirt as the stanchion telescopes into the slider.
These dirt wipers are lubricated automatically from inside do not require any additional lubrication.
If, however, you wish to lubricate the dirt wipers, squirt a little fork lube onto them.
It is sufficient to clean off any excess dirt on the stanchions thoroughly with a clean dry cloth after every ride.
