Leakage and Noises from Spring Elements
It is not unusual for new suspension elements to be subject to a small amount of oil leakage. It may occur that the shock’s pistons or stanchions have a light film of oil on them. This is entirely normal and will not have a detrimental effect on the performance of your suspension.
Noises coming from inside your suspension elements are not unusual during the first 300km and do not constitute a fault.
If spring elements are leaking and lose considerable amounts of fluid or oil, or if a spring element does not work properly, cease using the bicycle immediately.
