2.10.2018, PROSPORTS EWS Finals in Italy

Just like every year, the final race to decide the overall champions of the Enduro World Series was held on the jagged Italian coastline in Finale Ligure.

The breath-taking ocean views and beautiful villages of Liguria disguise a legendary network of some of the most brutal and technical trails on the continent. Florian Nicolai and Dimitri Tordo were unfazed. Both riding the Torque, they navigated their way through the steep, rocky terrain to take 3rd and 5th in the overall rankings and move the team one step closer to the overall title. Joe Barnes placed 24th on the day as well as in the series. The comeback kid, Ines Thoma, made an incredible recovery from a serious crash and injury in Whistler and rode her way to 17th in Finale and 7th overall. Riding through pain, Ines’ efforts secured the overall team title and made history as the Canyon Factory Enduro Team became the first ever team to win the team championship twice.
