As a two-time World Champion and the course record holder of the infamous Leadville 100, Alban Lakata’s goals are lofty to say the least. No stranger to the top step of the podium, on Sunday June 25th, the Austrian has a chance to tie Chrisoph Sauser’s record three World Champion titles cement himself as one of the young sport's greatest athletes. Pitting himself against the world's best riders including fellow teammates Kristian Hynek and Erik Kleinhans, Lakata will have to get his training, nutrition and equipment exactly right to come out on top.
