Your Chance to own a one-off Speedmax CF ridden by Leanda Cave

The international elite of triathlon is gearing up for the IRONMAN® World Championships this weekend in Hawaii. 2012 champion and Canyon triathlete, Leanda Cave, is in fine form and has her eye on one of the podium spots.

To mark the most prestigious Ironman of the year, Leanda will be riding a very special Speedmax CF for a very special cause.

Brazilian-born and world-renowned pop artist, Romero Britto came up with the one-off design for Leanda’s Speedmax CF to help her stand out on the bike leg.

But it’s not just about looking the part. After the bike is officially unveiled in Kona on the 9th of October, an online auction will open where anyone can place a bid to own this unique example. Proceeds from the auction will go to supporting the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF), an organisation that provides medical grants to help children gain access to the healthcare they need.

Leanda sees competing on the Britto Speedmax this weekeind as a unique opportunity: “On very few occasions do the expressive arts, mechanical function and the art of the sport come together as they do in this instance.”

The auction was set up by the UnitedHealthcare Corporate Challenge as part of the City Bikes IRONMAN® 70.3 Miami from 24th – 26th October.

If you would like the chance to own this bike, simply place a bid and support the UHCCF at Charitybuzz.com.
