tundra green - taiga orange

With the Dude CF 8.0 you can buy the perfect fat bike to dip your toe into the beefy tire waters without committing too much of your bike budget to the adventure. The Dude CF 8.0 is special because it comes with lightweight yet robust carbon fibre frame. You’ll get the responsive – yes we mean responsive – ride that the other Dudes offer, as well as the clever rear dropouts that have two positions to allow for 4.0 and 4.8 inch tires. The same DT Swiss BR 2300 wheels with the four inch Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tires have also been included to help the bike keep its weight down and mitigate rolling resistance so that you can feel like you are levitating off your big jumps. The SRAM NX 11-speed rear derailleur matched to a Shimano SLX cassette and its 11-42 spread will combine neatly with the lightweight Race Face Aeffect DM and a 28 tooth ring. With that choice of gears you’ll be able to hammer up the hills and fly back down. Since we’ve focused on narrowing the Q-factor, railing berms will be effortless and long snow-packed climbs will feel like your pedals are getting the full effect of your pumping pistons. Though some of the other Dude CF options come with front suspension, the 8.0 sticks with the in-house, specially designed full carbon fork from Canyon helping to keep the weight down while offering the durability and security that comes with the features like 15 mm through axles. If you are a four season cycling fanatic, then buying the Dude CF 8.0 will give you the wheels you need to keep all the rides fun and fabulous.
