With a deep history of successful German triathletes, it’s perhaps no surprise that Canyon takes the development and design of tri and time trial bikes very seriously. What Canyon focuses on, though, is to give you the full package. Aero is not enough. It has to be comfortable as well, and easy to handle, since loads of factors go into making a great performance on the road. So, yes, the tube shapes and interfaces have been designed to make the bike as aerodynamic as possible, but where Speedmax CF SLX 9.0 LTD excels in how it has tuned the geometry to help the rider get into an aero position that is not only accessible and even comfortable, but has a longer wheelbase that aids in keeping the bike stable even in cross winds, and agile while cornering. The Canyon F32 Aero fork has a lot to do with the intelligent handling the bike offers, particularly since it has been designed with a rake shift options when you change the insert in the fork dropouts to prompt either agile or stable handling.
Going with Dura Ace Di2 groupset ensures that the Speedmax CF SLX 9.0 LTD leaves nothing to chance in terms of going with the highest quality kit. The button shifters make it possible to have multiple shifting positions so that you will always be within reach of your perfect gear. Paired with the Zipp 808 NSW carbon clincher front and rear, you’ll be hyper aero top to toe. The super sleek Canyon integrated aero brakes will give the stopping grip you’ll need for those hilly courses while practically disappearing into the frame.
The H26 CF Basebar combined with the fully integrated V19 AL Aero stem not only provides an aerodynamic face to the wind, but offers a wide range of adjustability with spacers and extensions. Then the Canyon E192 AL Extensions Ergo-S-Bend, developed in conjunction with Ergon, have a comfort-oriented s-bend shape to the extensions and plush arm pads that will prevent the numbing and fatigue that can result from poorly aligned and inadequately padded aero bars. Hydration and nutrition storage systems have been designed to sneak in between the bars, in the case of the hydration, and then seamlessly behind the headset for the nutrition storage so that you can access what you need easily and on the fly.
When every small adjustment could make the difference between winning and not even finishing the race, you want to make sure you are buying the best. The Speedmax CF SLX 9.0 LTD will exceed all expectations.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain impermanent contact to the ground. These are in general road-racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances, this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tire contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
