The 2018 Grand Canyon AL 3.0 hardtail XC mountain bike not only offers excellent and reliable components, but it also comes with a huge fun factor. Thanks to the excellent grip of the Schwalbe Racing Ralph Performance 2.25 inch tires wrapping the Alex Rims MD19 rims, you will be able to remain in control in any off-road situation. To enhance handling and ride quality the Grand Canyon AL 3.0 comes with 27.5 inch wheels in XS and S while the larger sizes have 29 inch wheels.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
