Our lightest ever cockpit

As with the frame, the Evo cockpit CP20 is constructed using the same UHT and UHM fibres for the perfect balance of ergonomics, aerodynamic efficiency and stiffness.

At 270 g, this is the lightest, most innovative cockpit we've ever built.

The evolution of the EVO

2004 - a 3.7 kg roadbike

A concept to explore the boundaries of weight-saving and create the lightest bike in the world. Individual components were extensively modified by hand to achieve a total weight of just 3.7 kg.
2006 - a 6.8 kg disc bike

Two years later we unveiled a second concept featuring fully-functioning hydraulic disc brakes tipping the scales at 6.8 kg, bang on the UCI weight limit. A world first, our drive to innovate accelerated the evolution of disc brake road bikes.
2019 - 6 kg disc bike

Designed to ride. In 2019, we launched the first production disc bike to (barely) tip the scales at 6 kg. Unlike previous prototypes, the EVO disc is designed to withstand the rigours of daily road cycling.
