Highlights Grand Canyon Young Hero 27.5"
The most durable frame in its class
Built to endure season after season of all-out trail riding, the Grand Canyon’s aluminium frame is designed for durability. Each bike meets our rigorous Category 3 testing standards (on par with our full-suspension Neuron), significantly tougher than other aluminium hardtails on the market. The high grade alloy is lightweight too, ensuring you can rack up the kilometers with ease and speed.
Tuned for smaller riders
More comfort and control mean more fun for your Young Hero. To ensure the perfect fit and ride for smaller mountain bikers, we use high-quality, youth-specific components throughout. For enhanced suspension sensitivity, we picked a smaller fork with 120 mm of travel. For optimum ergonomics, we included a narrower 700 mm handlebar, shorter cranks, and a smaller saddle. Finally, for safe braking and maximum control and hand comfort, we added smaller brake levers for smaller hands. All bases covered.
Smaller frame, same handling
With the Grand Canyon Young Hero, our aim was to build a youth MTB with the exact same precise handling and stability as its full-sized counterparts. To guarantee consistent handling in smaller sizes, we scale down to 24-inch wheels on this model so your Young Hero can enjoy the control and confidence they need to ride safe and with a smile on their face.

Bike classification
This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
