Highlights

If you’re the type of rider who is either constantly building or looking for new trail, then the Spectral AL 7.0 is for you. Your racing gene is built-in and you don’t need to be between the tape to feel like pushing you boundaries. Combining the 27.5 inch wheels with the RockShox Pike RC and RockShox Deluxe RT suspension, this is a playful bike designed to tackle difficult descents and tight trails. Slipping into our super-robust enduro Category 4 with the kinematics that guarantee sensitive and direct suspension, the Spectral AL is the type of bike that you will be motivated to ride down the steepest pitches. The Shimano XT 2x11 drivetrain will give you the gear options you need for those longer climbing sections as well as the times you need to put down a little extra power to huck a huge gap. Traction remains key since the Spectral AL 7.0 has the 30 mm wide DT Swiss M 1700 Spline wheels wrapped with 2.6 inch Maxxis tires; the Minion DHF 2.6 in the front and the Rekon+ 2.6 in the rear will give you the grip you need to remain in control through the fastest corners. And with the Kind Shock Lev Si dropper post, you won’t have to worry about your saddle getting in the way on steep, technical runs. Buying the Spectral AL 7.0 will get you the type of enduro-oriented trail bike that aces the fun factor on every ride.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: This category includes all bikes from categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and when tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
