The dates indicated on our website are non-binding and estimated dates of delivery. We are dependent on prompt delivery from our component suppliers, therefore when a delivery commitment on the part of the supplier is not met we have no alternative but to pass on this delay in delivery to our customers.

Before we inform our customers about any delay in delivery we of course endeavour to find an alternative solution whenever possible. However, it is often the case that suppliers are unable to deliver components in sufficient quantities to meet our needs within the required time frames. We of course do our level best to keep delivery delays down to an absolute minimum.

As a company we have no influence over any duties or associated costs imposed by customs and cannot say how high they will be on a specific order. The customs regulations vary from country to country and can only be paid by the customer. If you would like more information, we recommend getting in touch with your country’s customs office.

Within Europe, delivery typically takes five to seven days from the point of dispatch.

Delivery outside of Europe typically takes 10-14 working days, from the point of dispatch.

Once your order has shipped you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number to monitor its status via UPS or DHL.

The warranty is invalidated by resprays, as we are unable to influence the type of respray and preliminary work.

We’ll be more than happy to perform our 50-point inspection on your bike. In principle, maintenance work can be undertaken by any bike shop. Maintenance of the fork and rear shock elements should be left to the respective manufacturer. Please pay attention to the instructions of the manufacturer, as the warranty can only be maintained if the required maintenance intervals are observed!

For more information or if you have any questions, please contact us via our live chat, via telephone by calling +49 (0) 261 40 4000 Monday - Friday 9 - 19, or by email.

All Canyon bikes are shipped as illustrated and described. Selecting alternative component configurations (including alternative stem lengths, seatposts, handlebar widths, gear ratios) is not possible when placing an order at the moment due to current limitations in our system.

However, from experience over 90% of our customers are satisfied with the component specification that we select for each model and size. This information is easy to find in the geometry and spec tables displayed under every model. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

With the financing option you can set up payment installations for the cost of your bike. These amounts are withdrawn by direct debit from your account on a monthly basis. The interest rate for the entire term of the loan is pre-determined, allowing you to build the monthly installments into your budget.

You can choose the financing option at the end of the ordering process. Afterwards, a link to the Commerz Finanz GmbH will be sent to you.

It is possible to complete the payment of the loan via unscheduled payment before the end of the agreed contract. For further information on this topic, please call +49 1805 23 86 53 (€0,14/min on a German landline, maximum €0,42/min on a mobile network).

Bikes purchased from Canyon come with a 30-day cancellation policy, which begins from the point of receipt of your new bike. If you enter into an agreement to finance your bike and then wish to return it, you can choose to immediately withdraw from the financing agreement. Should any difficulties arise regarding the repayment installments, we advise you contact our partner bank via phone at +49 1805 23 86 53 (€0,14/min on a German landline, maximum €0,42/min on a mobile network).

We recommend that you acquire some form of debt insurance for your financing agreement in the case of unemployment, inability to work or injury.

Please note, online financing is only available to customers in Germany.

If you plan to have your order delivered to an EU address and then ship it outside of the EU yourself, you can receive a refund of the VAT.

All orders with shipping addresses within the EU have the county’s VAT included in the order price. If you intend to send your order out of the EU be sure to notify us when your order is placed and we will attach an exportation certificate. The Import/Export Customs Service in the EU country of exit must stamp this certificate. After it has been stamped you need to send us the ORIGINAL VAT claim (not a copy). As soon as we receive the original form, we will be able to refund the VAT. The process should be completed within 30 days of your orders delivery.

IMPORTANT: To claim the VAT refund the billing address must be outside of the EU and the delivery address must be in the EU.

Customs and import duties may also be payable on deliveries abroad. These charges are to be carried out by the recipient of the goods. Canyon Bicycles has no influence on these charges.

Please send the original documents to:

Canyon Bicycles GMBH
Att. Auftragsbearbeitung (Order Processing)

Please note: A VAT form is not needed for items with a value of 1000 € or under.

Leasing is a form of renting. In the case of employee leasing through JobRad, the employer pays a monthly rate while the employee contributes part of their salary. Through this process the taxable income of the employer and employee is lessened. Based on the opportunity for private use, the determined benefit of worth (1% of the nonbinding recommended retail price) must be taxed.

Through leasing, the employee will save in total between 10% and 40% in comparison to buying.

Please note, leasing is only available to customers in Germany.

Once your order has shipped we will send you an e-mail with your UPS or DHL tracking number. From the point of shipment we no longer have control of when it will be delivered. If you require a specific delivery date please contact UPS or DHL.

The crash replacement service is restricted to the first owner of the bike and to damage which adversely affects the bike's function. We reserve the right to refuse this service in specific cases if we find that the damage has been caused maliciously or the damage is purely superficial. At this point we would expressly like to state that changing to a different model is not possible and the service can only be used once in a 3-year cycle.

Please visit the Crash Replacement section of our website for more information.

There are five categories of bikes for sale in the Canyon.Outlet:

New bikes with slight optical defects

Bikes and framesets in this category are unridden new bikes that may have minimal colour deviations, scratches or paintwork defects. Put simply, these are bikes that don't quite pass our strict appearance quality standards to be sold as normal, however they work just the same as any new bike. As with all Outlet bikes, we provide the same guarantees as on any new Canyon bike. Furthermore, the bikes are all assembled and thoroughly checked by our workshop mechanics, with any modifications made if necessary.

New bikes in pristine condition

Bikes in this category are new bikes or frames without any damage. These may be models from the previous year or one-off bikes. The bikes are in a technical condition equal to that of a brand new current model. As with all Outlet bikes, we provide the same guarantees as on any new Canyon bike. Furthermore, the bikes are all assembled and thoroughly checked by our workshop mechanics, with any modifications made if necessary.

Bikes with slight signs of wear

Category 3 is for bikes that display slight signs of wear. These may be, for example, bikes which customers have returned within 30 days and have already been ridden once or twice, or a bike that was part of our test fleet. The casette and chain will be slightly worn but display no obvious signs of wear. The frame and also the components may have the odd scratch, chipped paintwork or colour deviations. As with all Outlet bikes, we provide the same guarantees as on any new Canyon bike. Furthermore, the bikes are all assembled and thoroughly checked by our workshop mechanics, with any modifications made if necessary.

Bikes with slight but visible signs of wear

Bikes in this category may have been test ridden on several occassions. The chain and casette have clear signs of wear, but still function perfectly. Bikes in this category can be from our showroom or, depending on test intensity, from magazine tests. The frame may show a few more scratches or paint damage if for example, they were ridden thorugh forests. All bikes in this category are assembled and thoroughly checked by our workshop mechanics, with any modifications made if necessary.

Bikes with strong signs of wear

Bikes in this final category show strong signs of wear. They have been well ridden both on and off-road and may have been part of the event test pool - most bikes in this category have been in use for the duration of a season. We adjust the price reduction of these bikes depending on their condition - the further the price is reduced, the greater the wear. All bikes in this category are assembled and thoroughly checked by our workshop mechanics, with any modifications made if necessary.

Canyon sells its bikes directly and exclusively over the Canyon website and at our Showroom in Koblenz. We can change the billing or shipping address only if it is in the same country as the original order. If you require an address change to ao different country we will have to create a new order.

Items in the Canyon.Outlet are all in stock, and can therefore be dispatched immediately.

Please note that if the item is sold out it will not necessarily be available in the Outlet again.

All accessories that can be added to a bike can be included in the lease. The requirement is simply that the accessory can be incorporated with the bike. For example, pedals, seat posts, stems etc. can be leased.

Non-leasable items include apparel and navigation devices, as these are easily removed and could be placed on other bikes. You can view all accessories available for leasing here.

Your bike will delivered in our patented Bikeguard to ensure it is delivered in excellent condition. All Canyon bikes are completely and carefully assembled at the Canyon.Factory in Koblenz, Germany where they are adjusted and test ridden. To ship, we remove the wheels and handlebar, attaching them securely to your bikes frame. Once delivered, assembling your bike is a quick and simple process.

All Outlet bikes come with the same guarantee as on any new Canyon bike.
