Troy is not only one of the fastest racers, he’s also one of the smartest and a crucial part of our Sender CFR programme.
As a key part of our downhill squad for so long, it was only natural that Troy was at the heart of developing the new Sender race bike. "The new prototype Sender works so well, we’ve been working on it for years now which has given us loads of time to fine tune the smallest details. Everything from how and where the mud collects and what that does to the weight of the bike has been well thought out."
Consistency is one of the main things Troy looks for in his race bike, preferring to focus on his riding rather than dialling in the bike each weekend as much as possible. ”I don't change my setup much based on the weather, it works great in the wet. I really like to be in control of how the bike feels, so there was a lot of back and forth to get it just right.”
