Developed by HEXR, RLS (Release Layer System) represents a monumental leap in helmet technology. In certain impacts, the Deflectr’s outer RLS panels detach, reducing harmful rotational forces,.

Stay cool

Extended-coverage MTB helmets can leave you feeling overheated. Deflectr is the great exception. Massive vents at the top of the helmet maximize evaporative cooling when mountain bikers are most at risk of overheating, on long, slow-speed climbs. Large intake and exhaust vents, combined with sculpted, inner channels, also ensure you stay cool at higher speeds.

The perfect fit

A helmet can only protect you to the fullest if it’s perfectly positioned on your head. The HighBar System’s unique arms ensure your helmet is positioned correctly every time. Debuting on Deflectr, the latest-generation HighBar features a ventilated chin strap for increased airflow, a lighter action, micro-adjust dial, and an updated stabilizer system that provides an even better eyewear fit.

An integrated space at the rear of the Deflectr helmet readily accepts our Canyon magnetic light, making you more visibile. It’s an added bit of safety that’s perfect for those times when you are riding to the trailhead during the early morning hours or making your way back home at sunset.

Secure sunglass storage

You need a place to stow glasses when riding in changing light conditions. Instead of having a sunglass storage slot at the helmet’s rear (where dirt from tire roost collects), Deflectr features sunglass slots and grippers at the front, keeping your shades secure, clean, and always in easy reach.

3-position, adjustable visor

Whether you need to fine tune your visor position to account for lighting conditions or your own personal style, Deflectr has you sorted. You get a 3-position adjustable visor that snaps firmly into each position (no tools required) and stays put no matter how rough and rocky the trail happens to be.
