The Spectral:ON CF 9 is the perfect whip for hard-charging trail riders. We decked out the light-yet-tough, full-carbon frame with Avinox’s most advanced motor and battery combo, pinnacle FOX Factory suspension, SRAM X0 wireless Transmission, and DT Swiss carbon wheels. They say you can’t have it all. Clearly, “they” haven’t ridden the Spectral:ON. This is the one e-MTB that combines massive power with playful handling and jaw-dropping downhill performance. No compromises here, just the kind of gravity-defying, corner-carving, giggle-inducing ride quality that merrily proves conventional wisdom dead wrong.

We pummelled our engineering software and logged an insane quantity of test laps to create a 2.9 Kg carbon frame that’s not just lightweight—it’s tough as nails. Next, we obsessed over frame compliance and suspension kinematics to deliver every bit of traction. What’s all that get you? A bike that’s durable, remarkably smooth in the rough, and flat-out fun.

Spectral:ON features the most advanced motor available, the Avinox M2S. Its sheer power is jaw dropping—1,500 watts of peak power and a mountain-leveling 150 Nm of torque. Better yet, the M2S delivers that amazing assist so smoothly and quietly that it feels like a natural extension of you. Point the Spectral:ON up the trickiest climbs and what you get is pure traction.

Endless traction and control

You can’t actually ride a motor, no matter how awesome it is. The Spectral:ON’s heart is its meticulously tuned frame. We stiffened the front end to boost steering precision and gave its rear triangle enough compliance to cancel trail chatter and boost rear traction. Pair that tuned chassis with dialed suspension and you get a bike that keeps you in control when the trail gets out of control.

Zero hassles. Ever.

“State of the art” shouldn’t be code for “pain in the butt”. The Spectral:ON is truly advanced yet doesn’t require a PhD in rocket science to keep it perfectly tuned. Example? Fully-guided cable routing. Replacing brake lines is as simple as pushing the line through the headtube port and watching it exit the chainstay port. No need to remove the battery or motor. Quick. Painless. Awesome.

Mullet or 29er? It’s your choice.

Everyone deserves outstanding performance—no matter their ride style or height. That’s why we equipped the Spectral:ON with nimble-handling mullet wheels, but also made the frame compatible (via a clever flip chip) with faster-rolling full 29er wheelsets. We also scaled the chainstays to best match each frame size, so every rider experiences great weight distribution and handling.

Lighter. Longer. Stronger.

The Spectral:ON’s high-density, 700Wh battery shaves weight and improves handling yet provides up to 2,000 meters of climbing per charge in ECO mode. It’s also one of the fastest-charging batteries available, going from empty to full in less than 2 hours when paired with the optional 12 A quick charger. Finally, it’s the only Avinox battery capable of unleashing a full 1,500 watts of peak power from the M2S motor in every ride-assist mode.
