Drop-bar comfort, MTB capability

Originally developed for the Grail, the CP0039 is the ultimate cockpit for ultra-distance riding where comfort matters most. Ergonomic tops and flared drops create multiple hand positions to reduce fatigue over endless rough terrain, while the integrated Gear Groove makes mounting kit – from computers and lights to aero bars — fast, clean, and secure.

A comfort seatpost that makes you faster

Ride stronger for longer with this leaf spring carbon seatpost and the unprecedented compliance and comfort of its iconic carbon leaf spring design. Simple, elegant, and lightweight, it feels firm on flats but provides the vertical flex to effectively smooth out ruts and jolts and mute vibrations, keeping you fresher on long rides over mixed terrain.

Integrated onboard tool storage

Mid-race fixes and mid-tour repairs have never been so quick and clean. The Exceed's LOAD Down Tube Storage is the slickest way to stash a spare tube and quick-fix tools totally out of sight and out of mind until you need it. Your bike is always ready to go whenever you are.

Effective frame protection

Keeping things quiet when you’re on the trail and your frame shielded from wayward rock strikes, we’ve gone the extra mile to integrate rubberised protection where it’s needed most: under the down tube to help protect against stone strikes, on the chainstay ends to protect against heel rub, and on the chainstays to reduce sound and damage from chain slap.

A smooth, easy-to-service threaded bottom bracket

For long-lasting, smooth-spinning and creak-free reliability the Exceed now rolls on a 73 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket standard. Simple serviceability and parts availability, wherever you ride.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
