Movistar Team pedals into 2016 having dominated the Team and Individual UCI WorldTour Rankings for the last two seasons and it doesn’t look like things will be changing. With the world-class talents of Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde poised and ready to ride to major wins, Movistar Team are prepared to defend their spot at the top of the pile.


In 2016, the successful partnership between Katusha and Canyon will enter its fifth year. With an arsenal made up of the cutting-edge Aeroad CF SLX, Ultimate CF SLX and Speedmax CF SLX, Alexander Kristoff and Joaquim “Purito” Rodríguez enter the season with the promise of shaking things up and grabbing big wins in the some of the year’s most important races.

From the solid foundation of experienced riders to the go-getting attitude of the younger riders, this diverse group of women seem to feed off and inspire each other. With a team motto of ‘better together’ when they are aligned they are part of something special, and even more extraordinary, these women create something special to watch. Five of the best XC riders in the world have come together to represent Canyon and the Topeak Ergon Racing Team. The defending Marathon World champion, Alban Lakata, will be riding with Leadville 100 winner Sally Bigham, 2012 Marathon European Champ Kristian Hynek, US National Team regular Jeremiah Bishop and the South African Lion King himself, Erik Kleinhans to grab podium spots in the toughest races on the planet.


This year the Canyon Factory Enduro Team’s ranks will be bolstered by New Zealand DH legend Justin Leov. He will join Joe Barnes, Ines Thoma and Ludo May in the hunt for the Enduro World Series Overall Title and ensure the group is well prepared to defend their reputation as the team to beat in the rapidly growing discipline.

Canyon Factory Downhill Team

After years of hard work and development, the Canyon Factory Downhill Team is here. Our mission is simple. Put the best riders in the world on the best bikes and provide them with a team and support system unlike any other in the industry. The rest will be decided on the dirt. This is where we Draw The Line.



Flips, whips, combos and transfers are what it’s all about. Since 2013 our young guns Thomas Genon, Anton Thelander, Peter Henke and Thomas Lemoine have been getting big on the Stitched at the most serious slopestyle competitions across the land. Never afraid to lay it all on the line and send it, these riders regularly land on the podium. As of 2016 the team will begin working with freeride legend Darren Berrecloth to put together the best edits, the best combos and to stir things up in the world of freeride.

Last year, Jan Frodeno rode his way into history by becoming the first athlete ever to win Olympic Gold and the Ironman World Championships. In 2016, numerous other top athletes like Nils Frommhold, Boris Stein and Anne Haug will join Frodeno in riding Canyon bikes through the middle-leg. Whether at Challenge Roth, the Olympics or climbing out of the water in Kona, with the Speedmax CF SLX and the Aeroad CF SLX ready to ride, our athletes will be the best prepared in the hunt for Gold.
