Highlights

Every mountain biking discipline, from XC to enduro through to DH, all grew from the inspiration of riders wanting to head out and have some serious fun on the trails. The Spectral AL 6.0 fits the bill as a trail bike that can take on enduro races, but has the playful geometry that will encourage you to try new runs. The aluminium frame offers a level of durability that will combine with the suspension provided by RockShox Pike RC fork and RockShox Deluxe RT rear shock to be able to take on big landings. With 150 mm of travel at the front and 140 mm at the back, you’ll enjoy the effects of our Triple Phase Suspension and its sensitivity at the beginning that will keep your tires gripping the trail, through to the stable phase where you will be able to power through rough patches without losing your momentum, and the progressive final phase that will make the suspension feel bottomless. The famous SRAM GX1 Eagle 1x12 groupset offers the simplicity of a 1 by setup without sacrificing a gearing ratio that is great for both climbing and descending. The DT Swiss M 1900 Spline wheelset combines with the Maxxis Minion DHF 2.6 on the front and Maxxis Rekon+ 2.6 on the rear and will get you massive traction without sacrificing weight or durability. If you are looking to buy a carefully-designed full suspension mountain bike to take on your most far-out adventures, then the Spectral AL 6.0 will get you much closer to trail nirvana.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: This category includes all bikes from categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and when tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
