Highlights

Though the debate about what is the harder discipline, road or mountain biking, might be more academic than anything, and a topic of conversation over a beer with your buddies, anyone who has ridden a 24 hour marathon or taken part in the Cape Epic knows the answer. And that’s why we have developed the Lux CF 9.0 Pro Race Team full suspension XC mountain bike. The lightweight carbon frame with 29 inch wheels has been designed to take the punishment of a tough XC course, but still nimble enough to work with you on the climbs. The RockShox RS1 suspension fork with 100 mm travel will help absorb the pounding will keeping your tires tracking the trail. Joining forces with the RS1 fork, the RockShox Monarch XX rear suspension with a hydraulic remote for lock-out, will keep you tracking the course like velcro. Making use of the lightweight SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain will help you conquer any climbs and the SRAM Level Ultimate brakes are not only super effective for keeping control over the most technical courses, but are easy to maintain with their Bleeding Edge technology. DT Swiss XRC 1200 complete the picture and complement the whole setup with their lightweight and durability. Order the Lux CF 9.0 Pro Race Team and put your training for the Leadville 100 back into high gear.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes in this category include those from categories 1 and 2 and are designed for harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
