Road Disc by Canyon
Here's how we make the difference
If you like to push yourself to the very limit and fast is your definition of fun, then disc brakes on your road bike will be your new best friend. With them you will always be able to stay in control of your speed. No matter the conditions, disc brakes offer excellent modulation to provide you with the ability to adjust your speed perfectly. And if you are an ambitious cyclist who plans to strike out on long distance or multi-day events like London to Manchester, or even the Festive 500, then the Aeroad WMN CF SLX Disc 8.0 Di2 will be the best bike to get you safely through every tight situation. The frame itself is designed to be stiff and responsive. The head tube and bottom bracket translate your power input directly into speed output, and the Trident 2.0 downtube provides the stable, aerodynamic spine to the whole setup. With the newly updated Shimano Ultegra Di2 you’ll get that electronic sweetness in your shifting, but without breaking the bank. And the accompanying Reynolds Strike Carbon wheelset that have been designed specifically for disc brakes will help cut through the wind, while remain stable and predictable in cross-winds. When you buy the Aeroad WMN CF SLX Disc 8.0 Di2 you can be certain you are getting a fast racing bike that has the comfort and durability credentials to get you through your year-round rides.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain impermanent contact to the ground. These are in general road-racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances, this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tire contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
