Checks before every ride
1. Are the tyres in good condition, do they have sufficient pressure? Turn both wheels to check if they run smoothly. Check for damaged gyres and broken axis or spokes.
2. Check the brakes. Pull both brake levers towards the handlebars. There must be braking power well before the levers reach the handlebars. Picture 1 Check if the braking tube is not leaking. If your bike has rim brakes, the brake pads must fully touch the rim when pulling the brake lever. The brake pads must not touch the tyres.
3. Check if there are noises when shaking the bike. If there are noises, check all bolts and bearings.
