Canyon at CrankWorx

Our Downhill and Freeride teams are headed to the French Alps for nearly a whole week of hucking, shredding, spinning and flipping at CrankWorx Les Gets. We don't want you to miss out on any of the action, so we've put together a guide of what to watch and when!

Downhill

When: Sunday June 18th 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Fresh off of back-to-back World Cup races in Fort William and Leogang, Troy Brosnan and Mark Wallace will be sharp and ready to pin it down the famous downhill track at Morzine. Fabien Barel will take to the course on a mountain where he was once crowned World Champion to do further testing of the Sender. While technically ‘retired’, look for the Frenchman to put on a show for the home crowd.

Slopestyle

When: Sunday June 18th 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

This season all eyes are on Thomas Genon and his comeback from a serious ankle injury. Always a FMB World Tour contender, look for the Belgian to impress. Tomas Lemoine is also coming back from a minor injury at the last FISE event, but has been having a good start to this season with a 5th place at the last CrankWorx stop. Rounding out the comeback kids, Anton Thelander is nursing a tweaked thumb, but if he does decide to compete, you can expect to see him towards the top. Lastly, new Canyon rider Nico Scholze just got a new Stitched and is coming off of an 8th place performance at Rotorua that saw him throw down a serious Tsunami Backflip. Watch out for him to stir things up.

Pump Track Challenge

When: Friday June 16th 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

A former-winner of CrankWorx Pump Track Challenges, keep an eye out for Tomas Lemoine to make some waves on his home soil in France.
