Training on the home trainer
All Canyon bikes are approved for use on modern home trainers. However, when using a home trainer you should note the following:
• Do not use clamping systems which are fixed to the frame tubes. Only use clamping systems which are fixed via the quick release on the rear wheel. Alternatively you can use a traditional set of rollers.
• Never get out of the saddle when using home trainers or rollers! The bike could come off the roller due to the massive shift in weight. In addition, the frame is not designed to withstand these loads.
• If you want to use 29” whells on a home trainer, check first, if your home trainer is compatibel with this wheel size.
To reduce the risk of sweat marks on the frame we recommend a sweat cover when riding stationary.
