The Roadlite AL 7.0 is an impressive bike, with its top quality lightweight aluminium frame, perfect workmanship and unique ride characteristics, and an unbeatable price-performance ratio. The chassis has the kind of comfort that racers are looking for, with its well balanced geometry and super lightweight 27.2mm Ritchey seat post from the World Cup Series. The stiff, lightweight One One Eight CF carbon fibre fork complements the high-end chassis, converting your steering commands into precise movements.

Whether you’re eating up the altitude or going for full speed on the flat, the lightweight Shimano Ultegra groupset delivers maximum braking power, with ergonomic carbon fibre gear shift/brake levers and the Hollowtech II chainset with Hollowglide chainrings for precise gear shifts. There is an optional upgrade (extra charge) to a 12-30 cassette for the mountains – the best possible preparation for any climb. The nimble Mavic Aksium WTS wheels run on comfortable 25 mm Mavic tyres for a great grip. Roadbike’s verdict: “So the Roadlite sailed through the trial, taking the mountain prize for the climbs and performing well on winding roads with its responsive steering.”

Maximus Seattube
The patented Maximus seat tube is shaped so that there is a maximum contact area on the bottom bracket, without affecting the pivoting range of the derailleur. The oversized down tube and oval chain stays do their part to reinforce the already obtained high lateral stiffness.

One One Eight CF fork
With the One One Eight CF fork our carbon fork expertise enters the Roadlite arena. The carbon fork with aluminium shaft and its ideal stiffness ratios provide smooth running and accurate implementation of the steering commands. Weighing only 520 g, this fork helps the Roadlite platform to succeed in its diet.

Replaceable derailleur hanger
High-strength 3-D forged dropouts provide the best shifting accuracy and outstanding frame stiffness. In the event of a crash the frame will be protected from damages, since only the hanger has to be changed.

Asymmetric saddle clamp
The super lightweight - iF product design award winning - asymmetric Canyon seat clamp only weighs 16.8g. The increased clamping surface allows a gentler clamping of the post. The clamping slot of the seat tube is covered, so the post remains protected from water and dirt.
