The Ultimate CF 9.0 PRO feels right at home on the winner’s podiums around the word. The frame – winner of the German Design Award – is unique aesthetically as well as functionally. The Roadbike testers were particularly enthusiastic about the unfettered forward thrust and razor sharp handling.
The slim profile of the stiff One One Four SLX fork – weighing in at just 320 g – delivers superb damping performance in the direction of travel. The conical steering tube tapers from bottom to top, reducing the system weight and increasing stiffness. The Chorus is a high-grade racing groupset from the Italian drivetrain specialists, with outstanding gear shift performance and excellent ergonomics. The 11-speed drivetrain offers an optimised gearing range for every journey profile. Maximus Seattube
The large contact surface of the patented Maximus seat tube and the oversized chain stays provide tremendous stiffness in the bottom bracket area and thus allow an efficient conversion of pedalling power. The hollow bottom bracket housing reinforces this effect again with its 66 mm oversized outer diameter.
Semi-Integral construction
The semi-integral construction method combines the advantages of the differential construction method (tube-to-tube) and the integral construction method (monocoque). Thanks to this method we can build frames with a high quality surface finish – well known from the monocoque construction – and also profit from the reproducibility and quality of the differential method.
One One Four SLX
A special laminate configuration on the patented fork bridge and the shape of the One One Four SLX carbon fork offer superior comfort values next to highest lateral stiffness. The unique tight-fit is achieved by the collar-shaped attachment in the transition area between fork crown and steerer tube.
VCLS Technology
Vertical Comfort, Lateral Stiffness – the VCLS Stays in conjunction with the VCLS Post effectively improve the suspension properties of the frame without affecting the lateral stiffness. The VCLS Blades on the fork, comprising a special combination of basalt and carbon fibers, complete the Canyon VCLS Technology.
