If you’re after a new definition of comfort, then look no further than the Endurace CF. Armed with the same technical and aesthetic characteristics as the current generation of Ultimate CF models, the Endurace CF combines pure performance, Canyon carbon know-how, VCLS technology and Sport geometry with our brand new Integral Comfort Concept. Internally-routed cables give the bike a clean look that is right in line with the Canyon design philosophy.
A laterally stiff rear triangle, seamless tube joints, broad downtube and our patented Maximus Seat Tube represent the very best German engineering for effortless performance. The Endurace CF sets new standards in comfort and ergonomics, which is why all models come equipped with our VCLS Post 2.0, Ritchey WCS EvoCurve handlebars and Fizik Bull saddles. Extra wide DT Swiss rims with 25 mm Continental Grand Prix 4000s II tyres complete this perfect overall package with an even smoother ride and more stability.
The latest generation of Maximus Seat Tube has a subtly scalloped lower section emerging from the bottom bracket, which combines with the overall form of the tube to provide flex exactly where it is needed. When viewed face on, the profile of the Maximus Seat Tube is broader than it is deep. Its asymmetric design provides increased stiffness around the bottom bracket, while not compromising at all on comfort.
Providing the junction between the toptube, seat tube and seatstays, the VCLS Module acts as the frame’s "Comfort Control Centre". The whole section connecting the rear axle and the top tube offers the perfect combination of lateral stiffness, minimum weight and maximum comfort.
Using a Press-Fit bottom bracket shell (86.5 mm x 41 mm) allows us to make the joint between the bottom bracket and asymmetric chainstays 20 mm wider and much stronger as a result. This extra support allows for more efficient power transfer and improved bottom bracket stiffness.
Weighing in at just 340 g, our One One Four SL full-carbon forks with aluminium dropouts provide the best possible compromise between stiffness and comfort, while the 1 ½” – 1 ¼” tapered shaft ensures both absolute steering precision and solid handling stability.
