ROADLITE

Perfectly crafted and unique levels of performance from just 899 Euro. The Roadlite series offers the perfect basis for training. The Roadlite and its equipment ensemble including the One One Eight carbon fork and the patented Maximus Seattube gives you a competitive insight into Canyon technology. Whether you're on a training ride with friends or taking part in an amateur race – the Roadlite will fulfil all your expectations.

MAXIMUS SEATTUBE

Narrow at the top, elliptical at the bottom and flattened on one side: The patented Maximus seat tube allows maximum stiffness of the rear triangle for sprints thanks to the wider contact area of the hollow section bottom bracket shell. A front derailleur can be easily mounted thanks to the flattened right side, and the tapered tube which becomes narrower towards the top and the VCLS technology allows for better damping characteristics despite the extreme stiffness of the rear triangle. Damping performance and stability while sprinting – these are the two outstanding qualities which are unified in every Canyon bicycle.

ONE ONE EIGHT CF CARBON FORK

Especially in the fork area the advantages of carbon material come fully into play. Carbon is light and stiff, which makes the bike more agile, but still flexible when used correctly. This makes the entire bike safer. With the One One Eight CF fork, we fell back on our wealth of experience, namely the findings from the One One Four SLX test-winning fork . The result: a stiff and light fork, which offers maximal compatibility with most stems on the market, thanks to its continuous 1 1/8 inch steerer. The carbon fork with aluminium shaft and its ideal stiffness values ensures smooth running and a precise response from the steering. Weighing in at just 520 grammes the fork has made a significant contribution to further weight reductions on the Roadlite platform.
