One tool for any task

The Aeroad’s front thru-axle has a hidden, built-in TX25 bit you can remove and use on any of the bike’s Canyon screws. A secret solution for emergency adjustments on the move.

We shaped the Aeroad's seatpost for optimum aerodynamics, saving precious watts to keep you faster on race day. And now it's even easier to maintain, thanks to a sleeve bearing that creates a seal between seatpost and seat tube, preventing dirt from entering to increase durability.

Aerodynamically optimised fork

This full-carbon fork helps reduce the Aeroad’s frontal area to an absolute minimum, with complete cable integration reducing drag for even greater aerodynamic efficiency. Thanks to VCLS technology, the fork also absorbs vibrations and gives you excellent handling and durability even in the most extreme of situations.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
