Our pro riders give us detailed input which we use in our latest developments. And you can feel the effects out on the road.
The Aeroad CFR is lighter, stiffer and more comfortable.
The result? You go faster, for longer.
Built to win
Annemiek van Vleuten, Mathieu van der Poel, Kasia Niewiadoma, Enric Mas: the top riders on the planet choose our bikes for the world’s toughest races.
And they provide us with priceless feedback that we loop directly back into our development teams. Our goal: to build the fastest bike. Period.
Wind cheating
We constantly push our designs to the next level. To be more robust. To be better.
We've built our new frame in collaboration with aerodynamics experts Swiss Side.
Every tube, every component and every angle has been tweaked to reduce drag and slip through the air cleanly.
Responsive, race ready handling
Advancements in disc groupsets have allowed us to reduce the chainstay length to a short, agile 410 mm.
Handling is sharper, more responsive and with explosively fast acceleration out of corners. Exactly how a race bike should be.
Absolute speed from the lightest construction
The unique stiffness of Toray M40X carbon fibre means less material is required, letting us shave 170 g without sacrificing performance. This is the lightest aero bike we have ever produced.
Tube profile optimisation
We worked with aero experts Swiss Side to assess the most efficient aero form for every component. The broader profile on the CFR fork cuts drag and shaves 20 g off the previous Aeroad.
A World Tour level aero cockpit
This cockpit features thicker walls in key positions for extra strength and stability where it matters most. It's aerodynamic, comfortable and robust, capable in the toughest cobbled classics like Paris-Roubaix.
Super-advanced carbon layup
The Aeroad CFR is also one of the few bikes to use ultra-rare Toray M40X carbon fibre. Its unique properties make the Aeroad CFR frame super strong and stiff. Meaning immediate power transfer when you crank the pedals.
A truly unisex fit
7 frame sizes for riders 158 cm to 200+ cm, adjustable cockpit dimensions and a balanced geometry ensures a more inclusive fit.
There’s an Aeroad for everyone.
No-cut height adjustment
Seamlessly adjust and re-adjust stem height from a slammed position to a 15mm rise, without ever taking a hacksaw to your fork shaft. All lines are routed internally through the fork shaft for a super aero front end.
Easier to travel
The unique winged design of the CP0018 cockpit allows you to easily pack your bike without fighting with your internal routing.
Adjust to the course
The CP0018 cockpit provides up to 40 mm of simple width adjustment with a single tool. Extra leverage for more control or super narrow for aero gains, you can pick the setup to match your preferences without having to swap out your handlebars.
World Tour level components
The Aeroad CFR has the same parts our pros use at the world’s biggest races. The same equipment Mathieu relies on at the Tour de France. That Kasia rides at the Amstel Gold Race.
Because CFR means one thing — the best bikes we can make.
Top of the line drivetrains
The Aeroad CFR is available with a choice of 3 world-class drivetrains and controls as ridden by our pros.
Integrated power meters
We've specced the best, most precise power meters to give you quality feedback on your efforts. SRAM builds get their superb AXS power meter and Di2 builds get the amazing ROTOR INspider. Note: not available with Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset
Rotor ALDHU24 crankset with INspider powermeter
Our Shimano Di2 builds come specced with the outstanding ALDHU24 52/36 crankset and INspider power meter. Featuring left/right combined measurement, ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, cadence sensor and accurate to within 1.5%.
