A new team for new talents: the Canyon CLLCTV Dainese enduro program launches Canyon CLLCTV Dainese Enduro Team

Earlier this year Dainese, Canyon and Pirelli came together to launch a new DH Team, Canyon CLLCTV Pirelli. An all new gravity program focused on taking up and coming racers to the next level. Today, this mission continues with the creation of an Enduro team which shares the same ambitions to develop raw talents into the world’s fastest riders of the future.

The newly formed Canyon CLLCTV Dainese Enduro team will race at the top tier of the sport, competing in all rounds of this season’s Enduro World Series. Riding for the new outfit are two athletes who have already shown incredible potential in recent years as privateers: Polish shredder Slawomir Lukasik and yet another fast Frenchman Alexis Icardo.

Slawomir achieved breakout results during the 2021 EWS season, with two top ten finishes among serious competition in the Elite field. Young French talent Alexis has already been making waves in the U21 category with a National Championship title and a handful of podium finishes in the EWS U21 races.

The Canyon CLLCTV Dainese team will also receive equipment and technical support from leading manufacturers within the MTB and off-road racing worlds. Apparel and protection will be provided by Italian marque Dainese. With a rich history and knowledge within MTB and Motorsport, Dainese’s products are a benchmark in safety and ergonomics giving Alexis and Slawomir the confidence to push to the limit on track. Canyon Bicycle’s Strive CFR will be the chosen race bike for the upcoming season, assembled with a handpicked selection of components including Pirelli’s Scorpion range of gravity tyres, RockShox suspension, SRAM drivetrain and brakes and Crankbrothers wheels and pedals.

This marks beginning of the team’s search for new, talented riders. And while the start of the 2022 season is right around the corner, the doors remain open for another rider to join the roster. Stay tuned over the next weeks to find out who else will line up in Canyon CLLCTV Dainese colours alongside Slawomir and Alexis at EWS Round 1 in Scotland’s Tweed Valley on the 4th June.

You can keep up with all the team news over on the Canyon CLLCTV and Dainese Instagram channels.
