The Spectral CF 8.0 will be the perfect full suspension mountain bike to buy if you are looking for an all mountain machine with focus on fun. The carbon front triangle will keep the rig light while the alu rear triangle will ensure the level of durability you will want for those tough all-day epics through the mountains. And with the Spectral’s triple phase suspension, you will always remain in complete control since the playfulness in the frame design has been well balanced by the predictability of the kinematics. Combining the 27.5 inch wheels with the RockShox Pike RC and RockShox Deluxe RT suspension means you’ll enjoy the effects of our Triple Phase Suspension. The design ensures sensitivity at the beginning that will keep your tires gripping the trail, through to the stable phase where you will be able to power through rough patches without losing your momentum, and the progressive final phase that will make the suspension feel bottomless. The DT Swiss M 1700 Spline wheels will work well with the suspension since they have been combined with the 2.6 inch Maxxis tires that will give you serious grip in the fastest turns. The 1X SRAM Eagle drivetrain with its spread of 12 gears will give you as wide a range as a conventional 2X set-up, but with a clean design that will make changing gears in rough terrain a breeze. The steeper the runs, the happier you’ll be to have a RockShox Reverb Stealth B1 dropper post so you can stay low with your saddle out of your way. If you are all about hauling down mountains with your buddies, then the Spectral CF 8.0 will be an ideal bike for your weekend adventures.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: This category includes all bikes from categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and when tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
