Since its first victory in the 2014 Enduro World Series, the Strive has never strayed far from the podium. Our pro-racers and engineers constantly work together to evolve the bike and maintain its race-winning focus.
Shapeshifter reshaped
Meet our on-the-fly geometry and kinematic transformer. This neat little gas spring, produced by our partners at Fox, sits hidden inside the Strive's linkage. Simply push the handlebar-mounted remote to switch between Pedal Mode for increased on-trail agility and uphill efficiency, and Shred Mode for descending stability and composure.
Pedal Mode
A more taught, steeper and more efficient chassis helps when attacking on climbs and sprinting long traverses.
Pedal Mode steepens the bike’s angles by 1.5º, raises the BB by 15 mm and reduces the rear suspension leverage. This means a firmer feel and reduced overall rear travel to 140 mm.
Shred Mode
Feel the bike hunker down to deliver a lower, more stable feeling that loves to charge down the steepest, chunkiest trails at warp speed.
Shred Mode lowers the BB by 15 mm, slackens the angles by 1.5º and unlocks the full 160 mm of rear travel. The result is a softer, more compliant setup that hunts out traction and keeps you on track.
Tuned for speed
Paired with 160 mm of rear travel, our proven Triple Phase Suspension delivers superb small bump sensitivity and traction, a supportive mid-stroke and progressive big hit composure as it ramps up.
Race ready geometry
The Strive CFR is more confident at speed than ever before. Thanks to increased stiffness, longer reach, a slacker head tube and improved body position, riders can find more traction and stay composed when the pressure's on.
A 29er flyer
As a bike designed to take our CLLCTV racers to the top step of EDR World Cup podiums, we built the Strive CFR exclusively around 29er wheels. A larger tyre footprint increases traction and rollover helping riders carry more speed. This is one fast setup.
Perfect your position
Working with the best riders in the world taught us that just because a setup works for one rider, it doesn’t necessarily work for another. Reach and wheelbase can be adjusted on the Strive CFR by +/- 5 mm thanks to headset cup inserts that offer riders 10 mm of total adjustment. Fit and forget based on your preferences.
Three bikes. One mission.
We've made it simple. The Strive CFR enters the scene with three models, both fully prepared to race straight out of the box. The CFR Underdog and CLLCTV LTD team replica are the clear choices for up-and-coming racers or no-frills riders looking for an extra bit of speed. The CFR is the dream spec for those after the very best.
Peaceful protection
With input from our EDR World Cup Team mechanics, we've dialled in frame protection on the Strive CFR. From chain slap to rock strikes, we want your ride to stay safe and silent on the trail.
Hardcore hardware
Double-sealed bearings help the frame's pivot points run smoothly race after race, month after month. A neat additional seal around the linkage bolts defends against mud and water coming into contact with the bearings. Our proprietary grease fill stays put and further protects against water ingress and corrosion so you’re ready to ride in the harshest conditions.
