Key features

Optimised tube profiles

Working closely with the aero experts at Swiss Side, we optimised every inch of the Aeroad for maximum aerodynamic performance. The CFR fork’s flattened, extended profile reduces air resistance and also saves 20 g compared to its predecessor.

Balanced geometry

Many of our pro riders choose the less aggressive Sport Pro geometry used on the Canyon Ultimate. So we implemented it on the Aeroad. The current Aeroad has a more relaxed, balanced riding position than its predecessor for less muscle fatigue, improved power transfer, and maximum speed.

Extra seatpost durability

A newly developed sleeve bearing creates a seal between seatpost and seat tube, preventing dirt from entering to increase durability.

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use.
