• Who can lease a bike through Lease a Bike?

  • As long as your employer is registered with Lease a Bike, you as an employee have the opportunity to lease a bike through Lease a Bike. Additional or individual criteria may vary depending on your employer’s policy.
    
    Self-employed individuals can also lease a bike after completing the Lease a Bike registration process.

• What is the minimum order amount?

  • The minimum order amount is 15 000 kr including accessories and VAT. Some employers may set a maximum limit, otherwise the limit is 150 000 kr.

• What accessories can I lease?

  • Mounted accessories such as baskets, pedals, lights, and bottle holders – as well as locks.

• Where can I calculate my monthly cost and find more information about Lease a Bike's partnership with Canyon?

  • Visit leaseabike.se/canyon to get an overview of the monthly calculation, calculation examples, and more information about Lease a Bike and its partnership with Canyon. In the quote stage of the Lease a Bike portal, you will also always be able to see your monthly cost.

• Can I return my bike within the 30-day Canyon returns period?

  • You can only return your bike if you have not yet accepted the offer in the portal. Once you have accepted and it has been submitted to Lease a Bike, your order can no longer be returned.
    
    Since it is considered B2B leasing normal consumer laws are not applicable, meaning when you have accepted the offer it is a binding agreement with no possibilities for cancellation due to for example change of mind.

• What happens if I need to end my lease early?

  • If your employment situation changes, please contact your employer first. Depending on your circumstances, there are several options available. These may include transferring the lease to a new employer, transferring it to another collegue, purchasing the bike, or returning it through our take-back guarantee.

• What happens if my bike is lost or stolen?

  • Every lease includes theft and damage protection covering sudden or unforeseen incidents such as theft, damage to the bike due to accident, collision or vandalism. This is already included in the monthly leasing from Lease a Bike and subsequently in your salary values. If your bike gets damaged or stolen, you can ask Canyon to create an insurance claim which gets submitted to Lease a Bike.

• Does Lease a Bike include servicing?

  • Yes. Every bike from Canyon comes with a service package, giving you up to 1200 kr per year to cover maintenance, repairs, and servicing at any connected dealer of Lease a Bike. This is already included in the calculations from Lease a Bike and subsequently in your salary values.
    
    Please note that the service package is mandatory, as Canyon operates online and it is important to ensure access to servicing through connected workshops.

• What happens at the end of the lease?

  • Around three months before your lease ends, you will receive a purchase offer by email. You can choose to buy the bike at its market value, either as a one-time payment or through monthly installments, or simply decline the offer.
    
    If you choose not to purchase the bike, Lease a Bike will arrange a free collection.

• I’m getting an error message when trying to place an order – why?

  • When you proceed with a purchase in the cart, an automatic validation is performed to ensure that you are approved to lease and to verify the maximum amount allowed based on your employer’s policy.
    
    If an error message appears, it may be because the bike exceeds the maximum amount set by your employer, that you have exceeded number of bikes you can lease or that a lock is mandatory to add to leasing.
