Our path to responsible packaging

We recognise the vital role forests play in sustaining biodiversity, regulating water and climate, stabilising soils, and purifying air and water. Ancient and endangered forests, in particular, are essential to global ecological health — and must be protected.

To support this, we are working on alternative solutions to single-use plastics and improving how we source, produce, recycle, and reuse forest-based materials. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure that these practices are both sustainable and ethical.

To embrace this responsibility, we joined Canopy’s Pack4Good initiative. Canopy is an environmental non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving the world’s forests, wildlife, and climate. They work with hundreds of brand partners to drive systemic change in the packaging supply chain, helping to keep the world’s ecosystems healthy and vibrant.

Our path to responsible packaging

As part of our commitment, we collaborated with Canopy on a case study featuring our Bike Guard — the protective transport packaging used to protect and ship our bikes from our production facility in Koblenz. The study outlines both the progress we’ve made and the challenges we’ve faced in designing more sustainable packaging.

Forest Conservation Policy

This initiative aligns with our Forest Conservation Policy, developed in partnership with Canopy, which formalises our dedication to protecting forests and ecosystems for future generations.
