We fused the award-winning Neuron CF and second-generation Lux Trail together to create an ultralight trail bike like no other. The new Lux Trail gains Neuron’s all-rounder capability and is even quicker and more efficient than before. This is a light and lively trail bike that lets you rocket up climbs with ease and fly downhill with complete confidence.

At the heart of the Lux Trail is a svelte, carbon-fiber chassis that delivers 125mm of refined rear suspension travel via a carefully-engineered, flex-stay rear suspension. The ultralight, 1,850-gram carbon frame is strong, capable, and packed with clever features.

Quick and playful

The Lux Trail is a rocket. Stomp on the pedals and it goes. Fast. Pedal response is snappy and crisp, making it perfect for hard out-of-the-saddle efforts and pumping into trail features. And when the going (fast) gets rough, you’ve got 140/125mm of rock and root-eating suspension travel waiting to turn any trail into your personal playground.

Ride-fast geometry

Borrowing much of its geometry from our supremely confident, award-winning Spectral, the Lux Trail has a little more reach, a little more stack, and a little more wheelbase to play with than on most bikes in this class. It all adds up to a bike that’s surefooted at any speed, on any terrain.

Trail-tough components

The Lux Trail is dressed to go fast and play rough; with an emphasis on versatility, capability, efficiency, and lively performance. Fox 36 SL forks and Float shocks, Maxxis Dissector front tires, and 180mm rotors (front and rear) deliver confident handling and braking without dulling responsiveness or climbing prowess.

Durable and hassle-free

The Lux Trail is ultralight yet holds up to real trail riding. A clever, 3D-forged rocker bridge and redesigned, circlip-retained bearings enhance frame stiffness – improving both handling and durability. Headache-free maintenance is a hallmark of its design, which is why all cables and hydraulic lines are fully guided through the frame and also why we equip each Lux Trail with an easily-serviced, threaded bottom bracket.

The Lux Trail frame sports room for two water bottles, and features a large, watertight, internal storage system that makes carrying all your essentials a breeze. No straps or heavy packs required. A clever multi-tool and storage sleeve us included with every bike.

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
