Strive CF 9

Shapeshifter

With Shapeshifter tech, you can switch between geometries with the press of a button as you ride, for more downhill stability or pedalling efficiency as required. Just push the handlebar-mounted switch to engage the FOX gas spring located above the shock. Changing between modes modifies the bike’s fork and seat angle, rear travel, bottom bracket height, and wheelbase.

Full-carbon frame

Tested to the limit in our labs and on the world’s most punishing trails. Rated at a maximum category 4 on our toughness scale, the Strive’s full-carbon frame is engineered to meet the demands of the world’s rowdiest riders. In terms of stability and durability, it’s Enduro World Series tough. And with its carbon rear triangle, the Strive achieves a more balanced stiffness-to-weight ratio.

Downtube and chainstay protectors

The downtube protector shields the carbon frame from ground hits and flying stones. And a further protector on the drive side chainstay dampens noises caused by chain slap on rough trails.

Bike classification

This category includes all bikes from categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
