THE FUTURE IS HERE

Imagine a state-of-the-art road bike and helmet that work together to predict potential threats to your safety and help you avoid those dangers altogether.

Now picture a sleek, e-Urban bike that communicates with cars and alerts them to your presence - even if the driver can’t actually see you the on busy city streets.

Finally, envision a new mountain bike that ushers in an entirely new era of speed and aerodynamic performance in cross-country racing.

If that sounds like fantasy to you, rest assured, we’ve made all this a reality. We’re unveiling each of these four breakthroughs for the first time at EUROBIKE 2026.

Our goal? To make riding safer, more fun, and, frankly, better - for everyone.

Here’s the story behind the innovations.

Let’s make riding safer

Multiple studies, representing public sentiment across Europe and North America, clearly indicate that safety concerns are one of the leading barriers that prevent people from cycling - whether that’s commuting by bike or cycling for sport.

Moreover, the number of riders killed or seriously injured each year has been rising over the past decade.

We wanted to help make riding safer, so we created Canyon Predict.

Canyon Predict

This may look like a bike you’ve seen before – two wheels, two triangles, one very sleek aerodynamic carbon chassis – but on the inside it’s unlike anything you’ve experienced. For starters, this bike has a brain, the Cognitive Core.

Blending cameras, radar, and Edge Ai technology, we’ve created a bike that has 360-degree situational awareness. We call the complete sensing system Canyon Predict and it allows the bike to see
what you can’t see.

Moreover, the onboard artificial intelligence is constantly assessing everything around you so that it doesn’t simply react to existing threats but actually predicts potential threats to your safety, such as poor road conditions up ahead or drivers in cars who might accidentally open their door as you ride past. Canyon Predict then alerts you, giving you time to steer clear of danger.

Stingr Smart Helmet

Every time you ride, you multi-task. You’re scanning ahead for traffic. You’re navigating from Point A to Point B. You’re paying attention to the kilometers you’ve ridden and gauging how much further you can pedal before your legs start to scream.

You have a lot on your mind.

What aren’t you doing? Savoring the ride itself.

It’s easy to lose sight of what matters most when you are constantly distracted, which is why we are bringing all of the safety and performance information you need into your line of sight with the Stingr Smart Helmet.

The Stingr smart helmet pairs with your existing bluetooth-enabled devices, mirroring the performance date you want to see on the helmet’s visor. What’s more, the visor can also broadcast safety information relayed from Canyon Predict.

No more need to constantly glance at cycling computers, fitness trackers or cell phones. The Stingr Smart helmet features a motorized, retractable Head up Display (HUD) Visor. The visor’s transparent OLED display shows you the information you need most (customized to your preferences) and doubles as a protective visor.

Voice control is part of the helmet’s feature set, so instead of removing your hands from the handlebar to switch information modes on your cycling computer, you simply speak a command - telling the helmet what information you want to see displayed on the inside of the visor.

The helmet will also include an open-ear audio system. Near-ear speakers deliver audio including phone calls, navigation prompts, and safety alerts while maximizing your safety by keeping your ears open to ambient traffic sounds.

No more distractions, just pure cycling.

Roadlite:ON V2X

Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology is already making cars safer by enabling real-time, wireless communication between vehicles, traffic lights, and pedestrians. V2X uses on-board radar to help drivers detect hazards early, avoid collisions, and reduce the risk of blind spots.

V2X allows for bikes and equipped cars (there are an estimated 2 to 3 million V2X-equipped cars in Europe) to detect one other without direct visual contact, such as before entering intersections.

Now, three years after initially investigating this technology, we have integrated V2X into ‘ready to produce’ versions of our Roadlite:ON CF bike. This high-performance, urban e-bike demonstrates how premium carbon frames can seamlessly house active safety systems without added bulk or aesthetic compromise. It will also the first production-ready bike to feature V2X technology.

A fast-approaching car from the right, obscured by a wall? A vibration in the right grip warns you instantly.

V2X is simple, intuitive, effective...and soon to be a core feature of the Canyon Roadlite:ON V2X.

Lux Era

Cross-country racing is, at its very core, a contest of speed - that's truer today than ever before.

In 2016, the average speed of XCO MTB World Cup races was 18 km/h. Today, it’s 24 km/h. Longer races are getting faster, too: the Leadville 100 MTB now averages speeds of up to 29 km/h.

If you want to cross the finish line first, you need every conceivable advantage. Making bikes as light and efficient as possible - the paradigm for decades - is no longer enough to ensure victory.

As speeds increase, aerodynamics become more important, yet existing mountain bike frames and components don't allow riders to truly achieve (and maintain) an aero-optimized position.

In an effort to get more aero, some riders are resorting to riding positions that aren't comfortable or even safe - holding onto their fork crown, for instance, during competitions while attempting to reduce their aerodynamic drag.

Negative rise stems (the easiest solution) are both inelegant and insufficient.

Riders need better and more comprehensive solutions to win.

The Lux Era is that solution. The Lux Era features an innovative, bi-plane carbon cockpit that lets riders get more aerodynamic and stay that way longer, thanks to its multiple comfortable and secure hand positions. The Lux Era's inverted fork, with its aero-optimized fork crown, further reduces aerodynamic drag, which increases as race speeds increase.

The Lux Era cockpit also features an integrated display that showcases the core metrics that competitive racers need to keep in mind - including heart rate, power, speed, and distance. Finally, the Lux Era rolls on 32-inch wheels, maximizing speed and improving control over rocky terrain.

When every second counts, the Lux Era delivers gains that place racers atop the podium.
