Spectral 125 CF 7

The Spectral 125 CF 7 combines what we’ve learned from creating the trail-tough Spectral 29 and blends it with the weight savings of our shorter-travel rigs. The end result is a playful mid-travel trail bike that can be pushed hard on tough terrain and loves to cut loose.

Spectral 125 CF 7

A wolf in sheep’s clothing

Don’t let the numbers mislead you: the Spectral 125 extracts huge performance from its 140 mm front and 125 mm rear travel. With its modern, progressive geometry, this bike’s long, low, slack, and ready to shred. Just like the Spectral 29, it features a slackened 64-degree head tube angle and an extended reach – giving you plenty of confidence when the trail gets steep, and massive stability at high speeds and over rough terrain.

Extreme durability & reliability

Spend more time in the saddle and less time in the workshop – we designed the Spectral 125 to be as durable and reliable as possible. Internal cable routing makes replacing cables and lines super-easy, and robust industrial bearings, a special grease compound, and replaceable thread inserts all improve durability.

Geo adjust

The 2-position (LO/HI) Flip Chip shock mount offers 0.5 degrees of adjustment to head tube and seat tube angles, and changes BB height by 8 mm. Bikes come as standard in the LO setting, for increased downhill stability and confidence. Switch to HI for more ground clearance on technical climbs, as well as a direct handling feel.

The Spectral 125 impresses with its graceful, nuanced frame geometry, which expresses the bike’s enormous agility and mobility. The outstanding achievement of the ingenious design with specially developed frame and material combinations is that it is particularly light and at the same time extremely stable.

“I feel like it’s the perfect bike for extra technical mountain bikers who group ride with people on longer all-mountain & enduro bikes. Or for riders who feel like they might want a modern enduro bike, but end up doing 90% of their riding on singletrack and more tame trails.” Cory Benson, Bike Rumor.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
