• Who can lease a bike through Lease a Bike?

  • Most employees can lease a bike if their employer participates in the programme. Eligibility criteria such as minimum employment duration and part-time status depend on employer policy. Self-employed people can also lease a bike after completing Lease a Bike’s onboarding process.

• What is the minimum order amount?

  • The minimum order amount is €499 including accessories. Some employers may set additional limits.

• Can I return my bike within the 30-day Canyon returns period?

  • You can only return your bike if you have not yet signed and sent the contract acceptance form to Lease a Bike. Once you have signed the form and it has been submitted to Lease a Bike, your order can no longer be returned.

• What happens if I need to end my lease early?

  • If your situation changes, contact your employer first. Depending on your circumstances, options may include transferring the lease to a new employer, transferring it to another person, purchasing the bike, or returning it.

• What happens if my bike is lost or stolen?

  • Every lease includes theft and damage protection covering sudden or unforeseen incidents such as theft, accidental damage, vandalism, and damage to the motor or battery. A mobility guarantee is also included.

• Does Lease a Bike include servicing?

  • Yes. Every bike comes with a comprehensive protection package, available in three levels: Basic, Premium, and All-Inclusive. Each package includes a budget for inspection and wear and tear, and you can choose the option that best fits your needs.

• What happens at the end of the lease?

  • In due time before the end of your leasing contract, we will review whether it is possible to offer you the option to purchase the bike. If this is feasible, you will receive a purchase offer from Lease a Bike no later than three months prior to the end of your leasing contract.
