Road Disc by Canyon
Here's how we make the difference
For anyone just beginning to accept the idea of disc brakes on road bikes, buying the Ultimate CF SL 8.0 Di2 will be that leap of faith that will lead to the revelation. Super lightweight to help you scale long climbs, and then rail the descents since you’ll have the sort of braking confidence to push your speeds while still safely staying in control. The Ultimate CF SL frames offer great value for money since you are getting a durable, lightweight carbon frame with integrated cable routing to keep things looking clean and sleek. The carbon frame offers a responsive ride when you put the hammer down, but works to absorb inevitable road vibrations. The new Shimano Ultegra Di2 gives you the best quality electric shifting at a price that will seem reasonable even to the non-cyclists in your family. After all, who among us would not like to have access to the smoothest shifting on the market, without having to sign a pro contract? That’s what the Ultegra Di2 guarantees. Lightweight at just 1447 g, the DT Swiss PR 1400 DB Dicut wheels have been specially designed to accommodate the requirements of disc brakes, and so offer the level of durability required while still keeping the weight levels comfortably in the light climbing wheel region. The more comfortable you are, the longer you’ll ride and the better your power output will be. The Ultimate CF SL 8.0 Di2 is one of the best road bikes you could order if you are serious about pushing your boundaries and ignoring your limits.

BIKE CLASSIFICATION: Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain impermanent contact to the ground. These are in general road-racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances, this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tire contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
