Only 17 kg: this is a super-light e-city bike.

Yes, in addition to the Precede:ON CF, the Commuter:ON, the FUTURE MOBILITY CONCEPT will also be exhibited in the Canyon Showroom in Koblenz from 01.09.2020.
-

-
At Canyon, we firmly believe that the future of our cities lies with new, clean forms of mobility: and we’re committed to contributing to their development. Currently, we are re-orienting ourselves in the area of City & Trekking bikes, and we will focus strongly on urban mobility in a broader sense in the future. In the coming years we will launch more urban bicycle solutions, but the implementation of other concepts like this will also be intensified. The concept gives us a vision that we want to work towards – quickly.

Speed, terrain and weight (rider + bike + luggage) all effect the total distance you can cover.
Generally speaking, you can expect a range of up to 100 km with a single battery, and 200 km on a dual battery bike.
See the Bosch Range Calculator for more information.

Yes.
The Pathlite:ON is approved for Croozer trailers. Here you can find the necessary axle.

Around 22/23 kg. Thanks to the extra power of the Bosch motor, the bike is still lightning-fast up climbs.

We ship E-Bikes to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Please note that we only offer E-Bike servicing to people living in these countries. If you import your bike into another country (e.g. when moving house), we cannot send replacement E-Bike parts to you or collect your E-Bike for servicing.

Your E-Bike will arrive with a very small amount of charge. It's important you fully charge the battery before use.

Speed, terrain and weight (rider + bike + luggage) all effect the total distance you can cover.
It’s impossible to give a definitive answer to this question since the range (on any e-bike) depends on several factors including the temperature outside, your weight, your cadence, how you use the power modes, how much you are climbing, etc.
In our own testing, we’ve found the maximum possible range for our SHIMANO STEPS E8000-equipped bikes to be 100 kilometers (62 miles) in “Eco” mode.
In general, you can expect a range of 50 - 100km for a total bike weight of 100kg travelling at 22 km/ph over easy terrain. (In imperial measurements, that equates to an expected 31 - 62 miles for a total bike weight of 220 pounds travelling at 13.7 miles per hour over easy terrain.)
See the Bosch Range Calculator for more information.

-
A packed E-Bike and the protective bikeguard box measures 62.8 x 15.5 x 34.8 inches.

-
-
In theory yes but we advise against it because doing so will invalidate your warranty with Canyon.
Depending on which country you live in, you might also be breaking the law.
-
-
-
Please fill out our contact form to arrange the return and replacement of your battery.
-
-
-
A SHIMANO STEPS E8000 is expected to last 1000 charging cycles. However, how you ride and store your E-Bike will impact the battery lifespan.
You might need a new battery if you find your battery no longer reaches it's usual capacity after charging.

Replacement Shimano Steps BT-E 8035 can be purchased aftermarket. They weigh approximately 2.9Kg (6.3 pounds)

The Spectral:ON is supplied with a 2M charger.
Fully drained to 80% charges in 4 hours.
Full drained to 100% charges in 7.5 hours.
You can also upgrade to a faster 4M charger to half the total charge time.
Faster 4M chargers, which charge the battery in half this time, are available aftermarket.

No. We designed the Spectral:ON’s kinematics with the spring curve of an air shock in mind. Moreover, coil shocks are not ideal in designs that use clevis-mount shock extensions and rockers. The forces transferred (in such a design) to the smaller-diameter damper shafts used in coil shocks is quite high and can lead to shock failures. Air-sprung shocks are better suited to this design because they utilize larger-diameter damper shafts that better withstand those forces and thereby increase shock life.

You can easily change the handlebars, saddle and grips opf your E-Bike yourself.
It's currently not possible for you to configure your E-Bike before you purchase it.
You can find a complete selection of saddles, stems and pedals in our gear section.
-
-
-
We fine-tuned the suspension kinematics (including a new rocker design) to give you more useable travel and greater tuning options.
-
-
-
Spectral:ON models come equipped with either FOX DPX2 or RockShox Deluxe Select shocks, but they also accept most standard, air-sprung shocks with a 230 mm eye-to-eye measurement and 60 mm stroke.
Since the shock is mounted beneath the top tube, there may not be enough clearance for some extra-large volume, air-sprung shocks (such as the FOX Float X2).

-
Due to the higher weight of the frame and the force applied by the engine, some parts are subject to wear and may have to be replaced a little earlier than a traditional bike. We recommend you service your E-Bike every 6 months.
-
-
-
We recommend a tow ball mounted bike carrier. However, it's best to check your vehicle manufacturer for guidance about the maximum possible load.
It's important to remember:
-
The bike must not exceed the car's width by more than 8inches on either side.
-
The bike rack must have visible, functioning rear and brake lights.
-
A registration plate must also be clearly visible.

FedEx ships all of our E-Bikes. This is because our E-Bikes are heavier and larger than a traditional bike.
An E-Bike is classified as Class 9 dangerous goods because of the battery.
-
-
-
You'll find the weight of each individual E-Bike on the product page.
-
-
-
To remove the battery, simply turn the key to unlock the catch, then pull the lever at the top of the down tube.

It takes about three-and-a-half hours for a full charge. We ship all Endurace:ON and Roadlite:ON bikes with a Fazua Charger.

It's impossible to give definitive answer to this question since range (on any e-bike) depends on several factors including the temperature outside, your weight, your cadence, how you use the power modes, how much you are climbing, and more. In our own testing, we've found the maximum possible range for our Fazua Evation-equipped bikes to be around 100 km in "Breeze" mode.
