Uniquely nimble

There’s no other full-power e-MTB like the Spectral:ON. The bike’s big battery gives you the power to ride all-day while also improving the Spectral:ON’s handling. The battery’s unique, horizontal fuel-cell architecture helps lower the bike’s centre of gravity and creates an absolute ground-hugging, corner-slaying marvel.

Tough yet lightweight

The heart and soul of the Spectral:ON CF is its light-yet-durable, full-carbon frame. Built to withstand rigorous Category 4e strength and impact testing, the Spectral:ON CF easily shrugs off hard riding, season after season, while boasting a truly impressive frame weight of 3,180 grams (7.01 pounds).

Key features

Full carbon electric trail bike

By making the full Spectral:ON line up carbon fibre we were able to optimise the frame architecture and improve strength at critical points while shaving overall weight. The added frame strength combines with huge 15 mm thru axles at the main and seatstay pivots to boost overall stiffness and noticeably improve handling precision and suspension performance.

Next-gen power. Smart and robust.

The new 800 Wh aluminium battery redefines e-MTB performance. Built with next-generation cells, it boasts faster charging, smarter energy management, and improved efficiency. With IP57 dust protection and waterproofing, double-sealed protection, and the seal of approval from independent testing authority SGS, it’s as durable as it is advanced.

Proven Shimano power

A great e-MTB needs to pack serious power under the hood without compromising handling and that’s exactly what the EP8 does. With a whopping 85 Nm of torque and 400% pedal assist, the motor will you have flying up steep trails and its compact size and light 2.7 kg weight ensure that the bike still handles like a champ

GPS Enabled

Whether you’re logging miles ridden and vert crushed or just keeping tabs on your baby, the GPS function of the Spectral:ON has got you covered. The new Canyon app logs the location of your bike and can even send an alarm notification if your bike gets tampered with. The GPS locator stays enabled if the bike runs out of battery.

Perfectly-balanced mullet setup

A key part of the Spectral:ON’s outstanding handling and agility is the mullet wheelsize setup. The 27.5 rear wheel increases manoeuvrability on tight trails, while the larger 29er front wheel boosts grip and rollover creating a composed, yet nimble ride. The trail focussed geometry combines roomy reach numbers with a balanced 65.5 headtube angle for a do-it-all setup.

Trail tough hardware

Double-sealed bearings at the pivot points keep dirt and moisture out so you can keep riding through the crud. When it’s eventually time to service the bike, you can wrench with confidence thanks to the replaceable thread inserts which prevent stripped or crossed threads causing terminal damage to the frame.
