This thru-axle was developed in close cooperation with DT Swiss. It allows easy and secure installation and removal of your rear wheel. This axle was designed so that it can be combined with the quick-releases of the Canyon DEFEND Fast Fender mudguards. The quick-releases are easily fed through the thru axle and are quickly attached. The thru axle is required for all Grail CF SL (R120) owners who want to ride DEFEND Fast Fender mudguards. (All SLX and CFR models are already equipped with this axle).
